About Our Business

There is a lot of hype out there, but there are very few seasoned professionals that have
hands-on experience in building an on-demand service for enterprise software, and even
fewer that had gone the path of transitioning their business model from on-premise,
perpetual license to on-demand, subscription.

Calia Consulting has been in business since 2002. It began as a turn-key business setup
service for emerging companies is Silicon Valley.

In 2005, Dani Shomron, MSc.,  joined the firm, bringing with him  twenty three years of
experience in the software industry - R&D, product management, professional services and
operations spaning technologies, management positions, and continents.

Mr Shomron planned, implemented and managed an On-Demand service at Mercury
Interactive consisting of five global production farms, 200 servers, and hundreds of
professional users

Calia Consulting is collaborating with a number of top-notch experts in the field bringing
with them expertise in SaaS marketing and sales, Data bases, Storage, Networking,
hosting and security.
